The KenGen Foundation and former beneficiaries of the KenGen Education Scholarships program launched the KenGen Alumni Club in 2015 as a networking platform to engage members in different activities that support the Education pillar of the organisation.

KenGen Alumni are leaders in their fields and are always proud of the opportunity awarded to them by KenGen. Getting the alumni together was to give them a platform to give back by empowering and facilitating current students, strengthening the Education Program’s resources, and supporting the Foundation’s activities

KenGen’s commitment to education has supported over 500 students mainly from its areas of operations. The Company has spent over Kshs. 600 million over the last ten years through the scholarships and schools infrastructure development.

The mission of the KenGen Education Scholarship program is to offer lifelong enrichment opportunities in support of students whose humble backgrounds may deny them a chance to realise their potential. Those who have gone through our scholarship program have experienced the difference quality education made to their lives.
